dummy here felt it was just too much meds, so I cut the Depakote back very slightly. After two weeks I felt wonderful, my depression seemed to start lifting, but I did start stuttering and stammering talking very fast but damn I felt good. Monday was a killer day at work and I felt every minute of it, stress thru the roof. Today was unbearable ,sick stomach, stress so bad almost could not drive home. Going back to full rx levels. I could not believe such a small amount can make such a large difference. I hate the meds but now am afraid to cut back at all...has anyone else had such drastic results ?

I just made the same mistake a few weeks ago---was feeling very stable, and thought I'd trying cutting my Geodon dose in half. BAD IDEA. Within a couple of days I was experiencing something like dysphoric hypomania---irritable, jittery, pissed-off for NO reason, couldn't keep still and so on. Stupid me......as soon as I realized what was causing it, I went right back on the 80 mg and have been fine ever since.
