I went to see a new T on Friday. And because I usually do not do well talking to new people, I wrote down everything that was bothering me. He agreed that most of what is going on is associated with bipolar disorder. He wanted me to come back the next day, but their office is closed then. I am to return next Friday to do a diagnostic sheet. Whats that?

Hi Hallie

I have never heard of a T giving out a diagnostic sheet. Usually this is from a doctor, but I never had a questionnaire of symptoms type form to fill in when I was diagnosed anyway!

Its so good to write things down. Have you been given any meds?

hi hallie beth. I remember seeing this question in another thread of yours subject line - ?. I posted there that what diagnostic sheets are depends on that therapy agencys protocals. with sone diagnostic sheets are tests like the MMPI that the client is asked to do which will tell the therapist what the clients diagnosis and problem areas are and in other agencies diagnostic sheets is just another word for the therapist and client filling in a paper of treatment plans - clients problems and goals to accomplish during their therapy sessions.

Checking with your treatment provider will tell you which one that agency is using - the MMPI or other diagnostic computerized or non computerized diagnostic test or a treatment plan of problems and goals to be accomplished during therapy.

Hang in there.

hi there, I am new here and don't know how I can keep track of the threads that I have posted to....
I tried to have email notification when responses were made but that has not happened so don't know what I have done wrong.
Is there a trick to knowing where I have posted last. Other forums have pictures or other markers indicating such.
thank you for your response.

I make copies of my posts and threads and blog at the time that I am making the entries.

Another thing I do is go into my profile by clinking on my name in a post or thread that I have made and then scroll down to where it says - show all users posts. That lets me know all the posts and threads that I have replied to or started.

Another thing I do from time to time is pay attention to the numbers in the reply collmn after opening a message baord to the subject index. those numbers most times tell when a new post has been made to that thread. I say most times because sometimes the numbers are off or even though I have read the new posts they still sometimes remain marked as new. so I don't depend on this one as much as I do the going into my profile option of show all users posts.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
