I suffer with bipolar. I am on geodon and lamectil plus 13 other meds for my other conditions. I often feel like it doesnt work well enough. I am so discouraged and unhappy with life. I am agoraphobic too so I feel trapped all the time. My moods still swing but not as bad as they used to before they doubled my geodon. I feel like a Monster. my mind is all crazy with racy thoughts. so discouraged.

Have you had your dr or a pharmacist double check all of the drug interactions of your medications? My psychiatrist puts everything she prescribes to me in her computer to see how it will interact with what I already take. Including over the counter medicines. You are taking a lot of medicines, I would check that first. I would also talk to your dr about addressing your anxiety issues, for me, they are almost as important as the bipolar because the bipolar feeds off my anxiety.

Ok I will do that. I have many conditions. that I take meds for. eplipsey, migraine high blood pressure diabetes chronic fatigue syndrome and pain. I will do that for sure. Thankyou for your advice.

That is a lot of medications.. as Emomom said you could be having issues with some mixing . Do you have a Therapist ? if not you really should find one.. they can help with all kinds of things.

I use drug interaction at the office if not I check as soon as I get home. Could they use anything like depakote to control more than one issue?
