Well, if it makes you happy freaking melatonin is illegal here (and legal in Slovakia). It's often about lobbys and politics.

Odd. I take sometimes. And it's at every organic store I know. So there's that. Idk. Governments crazy, shut down, lots of stuff is illegal... Blah blah blah. Be happy. I'm happy, dont think thats the melatonin, but hey who knows or cares. helps to sleep. That's good. Have a nice night. I drink wins sometimes, that's legal. I like cayenne pepper a lot. It's also good for your brain. Hope that's legal. I buy that a lot.

I had a short and terrible experience on the stuff (world turned into terrifying lego's, almost knocked down my friends wife holding while she was holding her baby trying to get away, etc.) but that was the concentrated extract they sold at head shops.

Glad to hear small amounts are working for you! I'm too scared now to even go near the stuff!

Oh and don't dare try to grow the most beautiful Red Poppy anywhere around here - or get arrested as a heroin dealer! Such a beautiful plant, and illegal by men. It's a joke. Mother Earth could destroy us all with one storm or volcano & men make a plant from nature illegal.

California Poppy (the orange one), illegal to pick it since it's a state flower lol... but it is recommended in Wise Woman Herbals to make a calming tea safe for a nursing mother & her baby... So just don't get caught picking that one! (shhh....)
Thanks for this!

Yet you can buy tylenol with codeine over the counter in canada, just show your ID and and sign for it. I believe you get up to codeine t4's are 60mg of codeine! That's a decent amount of opiate lol.

you can buy pain meds from which you can easily make meth here. And without ID. There was some talk about regulation, but lobby was stronger. Instead they banned the magic mushrooms (fortunatelly for the hippies and trippers there's not enough police to guards the woods to see if people don't pick magic mushrooms along the regular ones. And you simply cannot "ban" something that grows in the dirt).

And then marijuana has some weird status here, that it's not illegal but not legal (they call it decriminalized). Until recent changes in law where you can purchase "medical" marijuana planted abroad for a price nobody who needs it can really afford... it was demonized. Now all of sudden it's good (the doctors say)... unless you plant it at home (as half of the people in my village... the elderly population... do).

Laws are funny thing and hardly ever reflect what is good for us.

Actually, you don't necessarily have to show your ID. That happens in some places where it may be abused in that locale. (I was asked for ID once in another province. The purpose is so that you aren't buying excess amounts of it. You'll have to wait a certain number of days before you can buy it there again! I was amazed, been using the stuff occasionally for years and never experienced this in other provinces.) You are only supposed to buy it if your doctor told you to get it. However, no one checks that requirement.

Also, it's only up to Tylenol 2 that is OTC. These have 8 mg of codeine as well at 15 of caffeine. T3 I have been given a prescription for after surgery. They aren't given out casually, so probably not T4 either! T3 has 30 mg codeine, so like 4xT2, but nothing about caffeine on the prescription label. If I need those one day, there are a few left. Good to take something for constipation with them, unless you like pooping out gravel! Wish the hospital had told me that!

We call it "hag's ear" in Czech.

Made cup of tea before sleep (mixed with holy basil, lemon balm, mint and lime tree blooms). Calm dreams. Right now some memories are coming back. New York. Montenegro. Uni days. My childhood. Despite all, I seems I had pretty good life. I been forgetting that lately, trying to do some "trauma work" by myself.

Mental... I don't think it's cure. Just something that is accidentally helping And what makes you think I need therapist? I said I meditate. I try things. Responsibly. I studied old herbaries and the net. And I take Salvia as serious herb at the moment. It's the witch herb. I know it's powerful.
(I do treat all herbs with respect, but that'd be for another thread).
Please post that "other thread". I'd be very interested to read it.
