Another day. Another dollar but man, I am not in the mood for one of my co-workers crap today. She is always poor poor pitiful me. She is the kind that will ask you how you are or how the family is and then proceed to lay all of her problems on me. And her problems don't come anywhere near "real" problems. I don't want to discuss anything with her but I sure as heck don't need to hear her *****ing because she brought it on herself.
Sorry for the rant but I needed to get that out of the way.
I hope you all have a wonderful day....

I know so many of those people. They don't give a damn how you are, just want to start talking about themselves! Stay strong and keep just nodding your head like she even matters.

It is part of human nature, to be self-centered. It starts when we are babies and some never grow out of it. We have to be able to see outside ourselves to be able to understand we are not the center of the universe.

Just tell her that you don't want to hear it right now, as there are more pressing problems like actually getting work done.

Thank you all!! And she was pretty cool today. We are friends but she is one of those friends that doesn't have a clue about mental illness. Smooth sailing today
