Do any of you escape with music? I love all kinds of music and with the phase I am in, I would rather listen to music all alone or with someone. It helps me a lot and I am just wondering if it is "just me", ya, know?? It was raining Sunday night and my husband and I youtubed our favorite songs about rain. His was Rainy night in Georgia and mine was Who'll stop the rain. But we like a lot of songs about rain. I think this might be a new thing we do...

Music is the glue that holds me together

I have individual playlists to suite my bipolar needs. Music to drown out the thoughts, music to help me escape, music to free my anger/agitation, music to channel my hyperactivity, music to help me sing or growl the words my mind and mouth cannot yet form of their own accord...

My earphones are a very well known "Do not disturb sign" for my family and friends.

Yes I use music therapy. Alot

I know I'm strange
But what are you? .....

Music is my magic. I have everything from Mozart to AC/DC in my library. Extremes to be sure, but my music suits my many moods. I grew up with music in the house and it's always been a big part of my life. No, I didn't inherit the family music talent, bummer.

Music doesnt really affect me anymore. I remember when I was young feeling strong emotions listening to different music. But now it rarely moves me. Not sure if that is an age thing or a medication thing. Plus I hate my ipod, I cant use the damn thing. I still enjoy music to a degree, but really the only time I will listen to it is while Im in the car.
