To this point I have thought many thoughts and felt many impulses that are insane or wreckless. Today my doc told me to do IOP, which I really don't want to do. But, while I feel ****ing amazing, I am afraid I am going to do something crazy. I really am wanting to drive to another state tonight while I'm not sleeping; I've also considdered leaving my amazing husband. I just have to ****ing do something to get rid of this...this, you know, energy is an understatement. So, while I feel ****ing amazing, I am terrified I will do something very stupid. Also, I'm feeling like **** because my doc thinks I am unsafe to be with my kids by myself right now.

I'm in an IOP right now and it's really not that bad. Why are you against it? It's only three days a week and I don't know if you work or not but I am in a night program that does not interfere with my job. So I would say go for it. They can monitor your meds closer and teach you coping skills to handle your mania so you can be less afraid of it. You can also get to know people who deal with the same things you do.

I'm against it because I have young kiddos...which is one of the reasons she wants me to do it, I believe this program is from 8 or 9-2. I understand what you are saying though...and I'm sure you're both right. My family wants me to do it...wanted me to go inpatient. Thanks for your responses...I was venting as much as anything which is why all the **, ha!
