Things have been crazy for awhile, so I thought I'd give an update. Everything at my new job is going really well even though I'm not getting a lot of hours. I had an interview recently at a jewelry store and they want me to go through to a second interview hopefully.

However, I was struggling with my mother and the whole 'being sick and needing to see a doctor thing'.

I've been in and out of the hospital this weekend due to having pancreatitis. It took seven hours of pain and begging for my mom to finally agree to let me go to the ER. I understand it costs a lot of money, but it was horribly painful and turned out being something serious. Now she's been doing anything I ask her to do, because I think she's feeling guilty for not taking me sooner when I said I needed to go.

I'm finally getting better, though, thankfully, but it's going to be a long recovery.

Thanks you guys! It's just been a tough but good past few months. I just thought I would share into frustration about my mother. She really needed to take me and she didn't want to. Even after the doctor said to come back when I have a fever and puking or get worse, she still waited until my fever got pretty high and I was puking non stop.

I'm hoping to get the okay to eat today. Four days not eating really sucks!

But thank you all! I really hope I do get this job but I haven't heard back from them just yet unfortunately. They said to expect a call within a few days but it was the weekend so I'm hoping they'll call this week.

Hi Hydro nice to see you. I'm so sorry about the health issues, it sounds miserable and painful. Hope you can feel better soon.

Thanks! I'm waiting for the doctor to call back and give me the okay to eat. I was right to have my dad call them back because they lost part of the message. Hoping they call soon.

But thank you! I'm feeling tons better.

Hey, nice to see you back.

I'm sorry you had to go through that and deal with mom about the dr. But glad you are recovering well.
I was just thinking to that you have been sick a lot previously to this, wonder if that was part of the build up to pancreaitis, so hopefully now then you will be feeling much better. Cause I know being sick bites the big one.

I hope you get the job!! A jewelry store sounds pretty fun and glad to hear things are well at your new job. I am glad you got away from the previous one.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! for the interview and for getting to eat!

And make sure you take it easy right now for a speedy recovery.

Thank you very much and you know what? I never thought of that! That could be totally true because they never knew why I was always feeling so sick... and if it was my gall bladder to, that would answer so much! Thanks for bringing that up, that makes a lot of sense!

And I still haven't heard from the jewelry store yet... So I don't think it's going to work out. Oh, well. I'll keep looking.

And I finally did get to eat, it was wonderful even though it was just bread dipped in chicken broth with rice. It was the most delicious thing ever after not eating.

I'm trying to take it easy too but I work again on Saturday and I have already called in three times (two due to this) in only three months of working there. So I really need to go. But I feel well enough today.

And my mom is being much better now, they're doing anything the doctor says now, because they realize how serious it is and feel guilty for having not listened to me in the first place. I just wish I could actually sleep... I keep waking up every few hours and usually around 8:30 to 9 am I can't go back to sleep again.

Thank you very much. (:

Glad you are doing better and can eat again. And it's good your mom and dad are finally listening to you. That must really suck having them ignore your symptoms. Get well soon and good luck looking for a job.

It really does suck when they don't listen to you, but now they might listen more because this was so serious.

However, our doctor didn't handle this nearly well enough at all. My dad (and I love this, because I've been feeling like he doesn't care recently, but I know he does now) just called and b****ed to the doctor about the care. He's been having to play doctor and they're not doing what they need to do. It really sucks. I'm thinking we need a new doctor.
