I bought a vieled chameleon before haha. I'm obsessed with having pets when I'm manic and that's generally when I know I'm manic.

Got engaged to my husband after knowing him two week of knowing him. In our defense we had been up together for over a week until we both passed out.

Bought a brand new Jeep Wrangler on the spur of the moment, but that was a cool vehicle I enjoyed a lot. It was a little difficult to justify the purchase to my wife however. I just told her it's a jeep thing and she either gets it or she wouldn't understand

I bought a concrete pump one time. A canoe another time, a row machine and a truck. I no longer handle the money.

I bought a replica Sonic Screwdriver and a Spinning TARDIS (from the Doctor Who TV Series). I know, I know: how sad?! Regardless, it satisfied my fanboy needs! And also emptied my bank account.

Ummm. I don't really make purchases when I'm hypomanic because I have a bit of a rule about it.

I'm more likely to pay to DO something when I'm in an up. Or food. I'll have a really nice meal out or things like that when I'm in an up.

A house

Now I have 3 houses, and I'm on disability. My past income allowed me to acquire multiple homes. I tried the landlord gig and it sucks because people where I live disrespect rentals. So, we're putting one on the market and my fingers are crossed.

I now have a joint bank acct with my husband and little access to funds. It seriously sucks.

The coolest and most expensive thing I bought was plane tickets to Brazil. I had to cancel my trip for other reasons, but now I have credit with the airline so I have to travel or kiss that money goodbye.

When I got divorced in 2001 I went on a manic spree and ran my credit cards up to the limit and spend over $2000 cash. I did acquire some pretty cool clothes and other things I really didn't need. I regretted it afterwards because I had no way to pay for them and ended up in bankruptcy. Now I have no credit cards and very little money and I am glad I can't do this again!

Well just today I set off £300 (approx $480) worth of fireworks, which I got on my credit card. I'm going to be paying that off for quite a while. Now they're all gone and I'm sorta thinking "Wow. They're all gone. £300 gone in an hour. I have nothing to show for it"

Thats not sad, its awesome!

I havent brought anything really cool. Most stuff I buy when manic is not all that useful or needed. A whole lot of material for all the things I was going to make but didnt, hundreds of horse rugs I was going to sell for a profit but never happened, I have booked last minute holidays and gone on random roadtrips, they are the most fun.

Hard to pick...I, too, buy pets. I had 4 dogs, 3 cats, a small aquarium of fish, 5 betas, an aquatic frog, a tarantula, a gerbil, and 13 dwarf hamsters at once. In a two bedroom apartment.

I also bought my car. I really did need a new one. I'd try to justify it with that, but I bought it because of the color and the fact that my iPhone connected to it. Didn't even glance at the warranty or mileage.
