I feel irritable and depressed at the same time. Even a little anxious. I never knew about mixed states until I started reading about bipolar after my second diagnosis. I guess this might mean lamotrigine is not working at 25mg.

I'm prone to these; I'm hoping I'm not on the verge of one now. They are particularly irritating and even dangerous--mostly to the individual.

I preface this by saying: I am not a Dr.

However, do you notice any correlation between these "mixed" states and your anti-depressant dosage? They have a history of evoking them in sensitive people.

I just got discharged from having one not too long ago. Definitely talk to someone who isn't judgemental or manipulative to watch over your behavior.

Of course, it could be (and hopefully is) a false alarm and just regular irritability due to external circumstances, perhaps.

I am lucky that most if my moods/states are not extreme , but definitely a struggle.
