Hi,
Yesterday I felt high, as if I had smoked weed, but I haven't in years. Have not been able to sleep in 5 days, even though tirrrreeed. Is it hypomania or just happy because walking outside? |

Sleep deprivation can do all sorts of whacky things to us - regardless of bipolar or not. But if this is BP related, no sleep can mean hypomania.
What techniques have you tried to get you to sleep? Sleep is the first step to start bringing you down. |

Have you contacted your doctor about these symptoms? Maybe he could give you something to help you sleep and bring you down from whatever has you reveved up.

When I am too stimulated I take valerian root to come down. It is a natural sedative and can be found in sleep aid pills.

New to diagnosis, so not sure what hypomania feels like. Just know I have not slept for almost 2 weeks, and feel a bit agitated, but at times feel like I am high on pot or more sexual (embarrased to say it). Is this hypomania?
