For example, there are days when I really should check myself in somewhere... like during any mixed episode but can't because who would watch my kid?? Mixed episodes are very dangerous... they are when I'm suicidal and have the energy to do it...
Does anybody know of any sort of support for single parents? I can't be the only person with a kid who can't keep a functional relationship up...

I hope someone posts with some info for you soon. I don't have any sorry, I don't do the hospital thing and when I'm bad enough to go, my family takes care of my daughter while I ride it out.
You have me thinking though, what dooo single mothers do when they have no support network?...

I know I use a center. It provides daycare and transportation for parents that are doing the partial hospitalisation program.

Oh that's a good idea! I wonder if there's one where I live... I fear that her father will have a field day in court if I ever go in though.
