"The house is reeling/And I'm kneeling by the tub/Lonely is as lonely does/Lonely is an eyesore/The feeling describes itself!" -"Fish", Throwing Muses

I've been having a hell of a time these past few days with numbness and loneliness. This depressive episode is just horrible. I haven't had one this bad for a long time.
It's so weird, honestly. I almost never encounter loneliness - at least, not that I can tell. On top of it being terrible, it came at a really bad time. My friend has her birthday party tomorrow and she's doing fancy crap. I told her I would be there and I sure as hell am not going to miss it, but I did tell her what was going on so she knows.
I've planned a crying session tonight. Been on the verge all day.
