So I was watching this documentary on Netflix about people who are bi polar and what they were describing kind of sounded like me. I sometimes have these weird mood swings. It's not as drastic as from one hour to another but on certain days I feel like I can do anything and on others I feel like dying. I also have the hardest time concentrating on some things which when I looked online was also a possible effect of it. Would appreciate feed back from people actually diagnosed with it

It's really not possible to figure out what's going on with you from this list of symptoms, which are quite vague and can be due to many other conditions besides bipolar disorder. None of us here are doctors, so if you're really troubled by them, you'll want to see your primary-care provider first and get a referral to a psychiatrist or psychologist for further assessment if s/he feels you need it.
I'm sorry we can't offer you more than this, but we're just not qualified to diagnose anyone. Please see someone who can, and in the meantime, feel free to explore the site and the forums; you don't have to have a particular illness in order to post in and enjoy the boards. Welcome! ![]()

If you aren't having any major functioning problems in life I wouldn't give it a second though.
If you feel you are being affected by a mental illness talk with your primary care like the poster above said.

I don't discourage seeing a doctor, but I agree with Jesus. I don't think that it would be a bad idea to track your moods though. Take note of whatever substances you do, food you eat, and cycle (if you're female) if you decide to do it.
