Back story…
After getting out of a mental health care facility.
I found myself homeless, jobless and alone.
Had to do some things I am not too proud of to get by.
Most of the money I got from selling my plasma went for buying me meds.
I am so afraid of another mixed episode. Terrified.
After being out of work for almost a year I finally landed a job. It is a job that no one else wanted and had gone unfilled for 4 months.
Personally I like it. there is a lot of down time and the pay allowes me to live on my own without food stamps and even has pretty good insurance.
BUT
Tomorrow I have to take a national based test for certification and for the past two weeks
I have been an almost perpetual state of panic attack. Feels like and elephant is sitting on my chest and I cant breathe.
If I pass the test I will have this job as long as I want it.
If I fail then I am out of a job in May.
Thank you for reading.
Chris

Hope the test goes well for you. Sounds like you have a great chance of making it on your own. Congratulations.

Thank you all for the well wishes.
As you all probably know it seems like an uphill battle most days.
My support network is about nil.
its been a welcome change to interact with people... even if its just words on a screen.
Peace,
