It's 5:30 am and I can't sleep. I've been waking up every night at about 3, and I can't get back to sleep for hours. This has been happening for a month. I think it's caused by Strattera because that's my only new med. I started taking seroquel before bed to try to sleep, but it's not working. The combo of seroquel and saphris puts me to sleep, but I still wake up in the middle of the night. I hope this goes away.

I hope it goes away for you too. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and have to take a melatonin and Atterax. The Atterax is a prescription sleeping pill by the way.

If this has been going on for a month, can you call your pdoc about the problem? Mine was more than willing to work with me when I was experiencing bad insomnia after stopping saphris at bedtime.

I woke up at 2-3 am most of the summer. It was mostly caused by stress (I think). Eventually it went away. Try melatonin. And speak to your pdoc about it.
