So primary care dr prescribed me propranolol for me blood pressure. As well as increasing my seroquel to 200 mg a day (50 in am 150 pm until weekend) and buspar 10 mg 3x's a day. I'm calm and everything but mentally still running a million miles an hour. I'm still hearing things but I don't really care. I think maybe this med combo is not right. I should be worried about these symptoms right? Symptoms haven't gone away I just don't care about them. I'm unable to control what comes outta my mouth without severe thoughts and force.
I would like to apologize if this doesn't make any sense.

Hey, do you have a psychiatrist? Psychiatrists are more qualified to manage complex mental illnesses like bipolar. That's not to say that they're all great, because there are some terrible ones out there, but overall they are better than primary care docs at treating bipolar. Racing thoughts and hallucinations are distressing symptoms that should be controlled better. Maybe you need a higher dose of seroquel, or need to switch to a different antipsychotic.
