I stayed after class today to talk to my Biology teacher about our upcoming final-trying to get tips for relaxing and see about study tips. I was really really energetic this morning. Lately, I have been super tired-going to bed extremely early and still super sleepy all the next day. As we were talking, I found myself easily distracted by things in her office/outside, talking continuously and really quicky (she couldn't really follow)and just basically excessively happy. I felt really important.
After a while, she asked if I had been getting help from a doctor for concentration-type problems. I said yes, but the medication I was taking ran out and I am in the process of getting it all taken care of. She later 'urged me to seek help from a doctor so I can calm down.' I was just curious what you guys think she may have been thinking about me....I am a bit embarrassed now. I do not know what she might have meant because I was so distracted I wasn't really paying much attention.

To me it sounds like she is just looking out for your best interest - checking in with you about taking care of what needs to be done for yourself so that you have a good shot at the being able to funtion at your best during the test and in her class.
I had a few college professors that I confided in and trhey always took the time to make sure I was on track and so on and if not helped offer ways and reminded me on my coping skills and support network of doctors and therapy professionals and medications and so on before any tests. Hang in there |

(((Hallie))) Sorry you felt like this today. We have all gotten into situations like this I am sure from time to time and its nothing to be ashamed of. Thinking of you and hope you feel better soon and start to get on a more even keel. Take care.
