I had really good luck with it helping my depression and racing thoughts. Only got off of it because I lost my insurance coverage and it was too expensive.

Extreme lethargy. My brain was cloudy for weeks after I stopped it. It was worse while I was on it.

I felt like I was crawling out of my skin. The side effects outnumbered the benefits.

It gave me terrible akithesia and I couldn't sit still, so I had to stop it. But it works really well for a lot of people.

Took it for about 3 weeks .. Felt awful the whole time. I am not diabetic but checked my blood sugar and it was way too high so I stopped it cold turkey with no side effects.

It's work wonders for my husband without side effects. My son prefers seroquel to abilify even though he has more side effects with seroquel.

I found that it really helped my depression but that I wasn't able to stay on it because it created some hypomania in me and caused me to have a tremor. I can't remember how long it took to work, maybe three weeks? Drugs affect everyone differently though so you won't know until you try it.

Just don't fall into the whole my body is telling me to eat trap. You will always feel hungry. Well I did anyway and my son has the same issue. I'm forever telling him he's not. Even after eating 2 chicken breasts, 2 Texas toast garlic bread, and a heaping portion of pasta he was still convinced he's hungry.
