As I have mentioned I resigned from my teaching position. I taught for over 8 years and I just wasn't happy. I felt anxiety and panic attacks on a daily basis. I'm without a job right now and getting bored at home. I've been thinking hard about my future and what to do. Initially I thought of going into healthcare maybe be a CNA or a medical assistant, but last night I changed my mind.

Since I have experience working with young children (kindergarten and 1st grade) I think I want to become a nanny! I don't plan to do this forever but for now I think it's the direction I want to go with. If I could work with classes of up to 30 children I think I can handle 1 or 2 in a much less stressful environment.

I know the possibilities with my education are great, I'm most excited because I believe this is what I can do right now without being stressed. I'm most concerned of just having a job that I like, being happy, and waking up in the morning looking forward to my days.

I won't rule out teaching all together I think in the future I can use it to work with adults teaching them English or Spanish. I woke up this morning happy and excited, what a great feeling! I just had to share.

Maybe you can take a PT job picking up children from school and doing homework with them. That would eliminate the stress of having to be at work early each morning.
