i am sorry to hear that you are struggling right now. i know the unpredictability of bipolar makes life a challenge. i struggled for many years finding the right meds to make me stable, but i finally did. dont give up. it can be done. take care.

Maybe you haven't chosen the right job for your bipolar??

I was feeling very dejected and ashamed when my last job (ALSO) tanked. But I took a much needed break and re-strategized, because I knew that after all this time after all these jobs, I had to be missing something.

Turns out I need a less demanding environment in order to be successful at what I do, sans a mental breakdown.

I'm now still doing administrative type work, but on a flexi schedule. I even freelance to make extra cash, because I just cannot thrive within the whole 9-5 rat raced pace anymore no matter how it used to give me a rush before.

Don't give up, don't lose heart, you may just need the right combo of treatment job to make work, feasable, maybe even enjoyable for you.

I know that this isn't necessarily an option for everyone, but I only work part-time. I finally had to admit that I just couldn't hold down a full-time job. I hope that eventually I will be able to, but that time isn't here yet. I had a bad habit of quitting jobs (usually without notice, and once in the middle of the work day) because I would get so overwhelmed. I work all day three days a week and pretty much stay home the rest of the time. Is it possible you could work part time? I found a part-time job to me much less stressful. Anyway, I'm sorry that you're having such a rough time and I hope things get better soon.
Thanks for this!
