I'm so angry right now I could murder someone. Just this morning I was depressed and tired and had a stomach ache. And yesterday I was happy and felt optimistic. My moods change quicker than the weather does. I hate it and since I'm off my mood medication I think its worse. The pdoc is thinking about putting me on abilify next time I see him. Hope it works fast.

life can certainly be a struggle off meds. as much as I hate them I have learned that life is less erratic when I take my meds so I stay on them. it wasn't easy finding the right med combo to make me stable but I persisited to find the right meds without side effects and now I have a stable life. I hope the new meds work for you. take care.

God, I freaking hate myself lol...it's so annoying to cycle daily or faster. You realize you have no control of it and it's like you know you are cycling so that makes it worse. I hate knowing that I'm going to feel like crap within hours or tomorrow. Or feeling like crap and knowing that I'm going to feel on top of the world soon. Gosh I'm starting to realize what an idiot I was for getting off meds and refusing them for about a year.

Hope you and I both get better. Good luck!

I am also a rapid cycler and absolutely hate it. My good mood only last a couple of hours tops, then it's back to my b*tchy self. I really don't like it or me at all right now... I hope the meds work for all of us.. I just gave in and decided to try them a couple of wks ago

My pdocs and nurses have always said rapid cycling within the day or by the hour is NOT usual in bipolar patients. More usual in personality disorders. I have only rapid cycled when on high doses of antidepressants, and when I was cycling within the day they nearly threw out the BP diagnosis..... Are ya'll sure you have the right diagnosis? Or knowledge about your illness?
Thanks for this!
