There are so many things I could be doing, and things I really should be doing, but I can't seem to get off the couch or get dressed or do anything at all. I can't even focus enough to watch a movie without stopping it a bunch of times. So I'm just endlessly flicking around this forum and Facebook, and wasting my day. I;m going to be back at work tomorrow, so I'll have to wake up and be productive then. I wish I could motivate myself to do something useful with my down time. It's like I'm just wasting my life away. I could text someone to see if they want to go for coffee, or go to the gym, or to the grocery store, or even go for a walk because it's really nice out, but I feel like my body is heavy and unresponsive. My mood doesn't feel all that depressed anymore in the last couple of weeks, but I just don't care to do anything right now. I'm going to let myself lie around for 2 more hours tops, and then I will do something productive... that's the plan anyway. Wish me luck

Motivation? Almost had to look the word up in the dictionary. It's been so long since I've had any that I almost forgot what the word means

I did it! I went for a walk on the beach and to the grocery store. Now I can lie around the rest of the day and not feel so bad about it.

The meds steal my motivation. The lower the dose the better my motivation. Until stress hits and I cycle then, Im in the **** for having a lower dose.

Motivation? I'm looking for mine on milk cartons.....not depressed, just flat from my meds. My friends and family, however, think I'm perfectly normal. Go figure.

Agreed. What else is there to these transient lives?

Key word, however, is "enjoy."
