Hi,
New of course, here are some things about me. I want to better understand myself and others,and I would love to help in anyway I can. I want to learn more about manic-depression, over the years, throughout my whole life, I've had my friends and family tell me I am bipolar. Doesn't bother me because I am who I am, but I'd like to gain knowledge of how to deal with myself, others, and situations.

For correct information you should check out some books recommended in the book thread or information from accredited sources on the internet. There is a lot of incorrect information and self diagnosis on this forum, so be aware of that and be careful in who you believe. There are many who can relate to one another here though so that is a great thing. If you are really concerned about the correct type of knowledge to deal with moods and emotions perhaps check out self guided CBT or DBT programs. Goodluck and I hope you find what you are looking for
