I left my pdoc last November. Since then, I've been to see 3 others (just one visit each) who are on my insurance plan's panel, and all have been major disappointments. I called my insurance company to talk about the possibility of seeing someone not on their list. No go. It was a very upsetting and aggravating discussion.

How can there be so many sub-par doctors in business out there? Why is it that the really good docs don't take insurance and are thus available to only the rich? Are the really good docs just really greedy?

I am ready to just go off meds and forget pdocs altogether. What else can I do? If they don't care about their clients, why should I care anymore? I give up.

Hi, what are you looking for in a p-doc that you aren't finding so far?
