I already have been diagnosed with depression and an eating disorder, but today my therapist added a diagnosis for a mood disorder. She used the term MDNOS, so it's not technically bipolar, but she said it's very similar.

I do have mood swings, but they tend to be between depressed and anxious, I don't get the 'mania' side at all. I also am very emotionally dependent on other people- I need a lot of support and get lonely very easily, even though I'm not a very social person, and I sometimes will feed off other people's emotions. If someone is mad at me, I'll be mad at them, if someone else is upset, it'll make me sad too, and so on.

I was wondering if anyone else can relate to this?

I understand what you're going through with the depression, anxiety, and mood disorder. I have severe anxiety and depression, and basically have the same situation as you, I have mood swings, but little or no mania. My situation is basically varying degrees of bad, but it's something that I'm trying to deal with. I'm not really sure what exactly therapy or medication can help with, but I know that both of us will figure this out. Always know you're not alone

I get the mania, hence my own bipolar diagnosis, but I really empathize with you on the depression and anxiety---they are my most frequent companions, and they're what cause me the most distress. You are definitely NOT alone.
