I didn't have much of a job. My mental breaks over the past few months had reduced my hours to almost nothing at one job and lost me another. Well, now I find out that when I read the schedule for this week, I read it wrong. I was supposed to be there yesterday (I couldn't have been anyway, sick child) and I no called no showed because I thought I was supposed to be there today.

So now I have no job. I'm not that upset because I'm trying to get out of the restaurant biz anyway, but I hate to go out like that. She wasn't even willing to talk to me about it. So yeah.

I know it is not our supervisors business, but have you tried to talk to her before about your condition before? My supervisor knows what is going on with me and has been very understanding. I am on intermittent FMLA and I have a very open relationship about my condition with my supervisor. I have missed so many days over the years because of everything. I'm lucky in a sense to have a supervisor that is like this and I wish you all the best.

I hope things work out! Working at restaurants always seemed like it would be stressful work. Maybe you can find something more relaxed. Try to think of this as an opportunity in disguise. Sending you my best.
