I had a productive appointment with my pdoc. I talked about how bad I've been feeling recently and what's been going on.

After some thinking on her part she gave me some samples of Latuda. I'm starting on 20mg after dinner for a week, then 40mgs after dinner and will see her again after 2 weeks to make plans on how to continue.

I'm a little nervous on starting a new medication because my body has a history of acting weird to some medication. But at the same time I'm really hoping this helps because I'm tired of feeling so bad :|

I hope it works well for you. I have never taken latuda, but it seems like people like it. I hope things improve quickly.

I hope it works for you. Make sure you take it with plenty of food in your stomach! If you don't, you will puke (or at least I did)...and because I was struggling very much with my anorexia when I took it, I puked at least once or twice a week so I wasn't fully compliant and it didn't have the best chance of working, so I switched back to Seroquel.

My body reacts differently as well to meds. I started Latuda last Friday and starting Sunday I became depressed which is highly unusual for me, most of the time I am manic. Everyday got worse and worse and I had no motivation and felt sluggish. They put me back on Haldol and I have never felt so good. I hope it works out for you though and like someone said eat while taking the Latuda I read it makes you sick, but I had no problems with that.

BP1- mixed episodes/OCD

Lamictal 400mg
Haldol 4mg
Klonopin 1.5mg

Thanks for the advice and best wishes everyone. I guess I'll see what happens. If there's anyone out there who has some experience with Latuda I'd love to hear it.

I'll make sure to eat a lot before I take it haha
