At the moment I dodn't care but eventually this will hurt. Ignore someone for too long and they get hurt feelings. Try to talk about my bipolar but they don't understand. I can't manage any type of relationship. I can't handle a job. Life, I'm not even living.

It was the same for me until I was able to manage the mood swings. I made new friends and don't tell them I'm bipolar. I'm stable, so they don't know otherwise.

This. I just don't tell people about this. It's not necessary especially since I'm stable now.

A true friend will love and accept you for who you are. I don't hide my diagnosis from my friends cause they support me good times and bad. Afterall that is what friendship is all about. Keep the faith...there are many wonderful people out there. Maybe join a support group and meet new people. Keep the faith. You are worth it.

Lost my best friend of 34 years 10 months ago because of my craziness and she couldn't handle it anymore. It was very difficult to get over. She of all people, but it is what it is, I guess

I pretend to be stable at all times, always... in front of acquintances. My friends know I am a troubled one and accept me that way.
