I yell at my 5 year old daughter, because she's stubborn, argumentative, strong-willed and rebellious.... She drives me crazy. I wish I could handle her better.

I want to cheat on my wife, because she annoys me lately, and I just want to have sex with strangers, or just have fun with someone. Family life can be so dull. We never have any time for romance, the kids at always in our face.

I hate my job most days. Even though I make a decent living.

I am irritable and bad tempered, I am a crappy husband and father, at least on an emotional level.

I just have a hard time liking this person that I am. I want to change. I want to be easygoing and patient, kind and happy. Instead of the emotional idiot that I am.

Oh well, I can't sleep lately. Damn hypomania is kicking in. Just ranting on here, because I have nobody to talk to.

No. No one to watch the kids. We are lucky if my mom watches the kids for 2 hours/week... She's pathetic. But she is the only family that lives nearby.

Plus, I am working all weekend, "on call" plumber 24/7, but at least I have Monday off.

I am just ranting. Life's a *****.

I also have a 16 month old. She is really sweet. I get along great with her, but I am at work so much, I hardly see her.

But yeah, I am thankful for my baby. She and I love to laugh together.

Ranting is a good thing believe it or not. Lets out things you didn't know were there and, IMHO, gives you a bit of resolve to do what you need to.

Ha! My wife just jumped my bones at 1am!!!! Haa!
I feel like a billion pounds of stress was just released from my system...amazing what a difference a little intimacy can make.

I feel much better now.

I know what you mean...sex is a good fix! I often offer sex to my husband when I know he is stressed out. It doesn't have to be roses and champagne all the time. You guys are so easy!!

A good trick I try to use is to go through my rant and rewrite it as if like it to be. Then write things I do like and an grateful for. Sometimes helps other time not so much. I feel you though.

If your wife works and the kids are in school (soon to go to a summer program ???). You and your wife could have lunch together some Mondays.
