I would really like to hear some of your sayings or phrases that help you?

One my favorites is "I can do anything, but am I prepared to pay the price? "

my favorite lately is,
"Fu¢k IT!"

I get totally stressed out and irritable over small things, so today I was getting angry at work stress, and just started chanting..."eff it, eff it, eff it!"

Silly, but it works for me.

If I'm not feeling like things went my way, I say "It couldn't have been helped"
But if I need to buckle down on something, I'll say "Stand up eight." (Shortened from a saying "Fall down seven times, stand up eight"
Thanks for this!

I have 'Breathe' tattooed to my wrist so I can focus on it when I need to. I also have the saying "slow down, seroquel, sleep" when things get to much.

I channel Scarlet O'Hara: "I'll think about it tomorrow," and "Tomorrow is another day."

"Fiddle-dee-dee!" works too under the right circumstances.

I tell myself everyday that there are so many people that have it worse than I do and to be grateful for all of the beautiful and wonderful things I have in my life.

Fiddle dee dee is silly enough to put a smile on my face! I may appropriate this from you (and Scarlet) - if I can laugh about it, it's not so horrible. Thanks!

"He was born with the gift of laughter, and a sense that the world was mad"-Sabatini

Not exactly a saying, but once I read this quote it resonated with me. It helps me keep the perspective that life is unpredictable, and no matter how I plan, there are sure to be unexpected sorrows and joys, ahead. It's better (for me) to keep a sense of humor, however rueful, and enjoy the crazy ride if I can.

One that I just found that I really like is "When you have a bad day don't let it feel like you have a bad life." I also like this one "When you get to the end of your rope, tie a not and swing."
Thanks for this!

I would write this over and over while sitting though classes in rehab. Being crazy and sober was effing terrifying (and still is tbh)

Bene Gesserit, Litany Against Fear

"I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain."

A little long, but it calms me down.

My dad reminds me of this a lot. There are times I just roll my eyes when he says it. But before long it does pass.
