I am not here to offend anyone this is just the way I am.
For around 5 years I have been taking different bipolar tests and they always say that I have bipolar with hypomania every time I take it but if I had it wouldn't the doctor be able to tell? It just bothers me badly..and I don't know what to do about it. Would a complex psychologist be able to tell if I had it? I am going to be seeing one soon....so sorry if anyone finds this rude... |

The only way they would be able to tell is if you were completely honest with them about or moods and psychological background and any issues it presents. If it's type two bipolar, (the mild version) it may not impact your life enough to be a HUGE problem.
A doctor isn't going to always see if it you are completely honest about yourself and any problems you are having....if you tell them everything is fine they won't know anything. Many of are good at putting on masks over our problems and hiding them. It's not something that is as obvious as a mark on your face... ![]() |

The other thing that I've experienced both professionally and personally is that a sound diagnosis can be hard to get because some disorders overlap one another, ie BP and BPD, they have a lot of the same symptoms. I've been diagnosed with BP, BPD, PTSD, clinical depression, all having a lot of the same symptoms.
Now worrying about what exactly is my diagnosis, I've just chalked it up to a mood disorder, takes away the confusion. Hope that helps
