Starting Latuda today. I'm a little nervous. I hate starting new medications. I've read a lot of good things about it. My daughter takes it and says that she has never been more stable, ever.

So... here we go

I know it has helped a lot of people, but it didn't help me at all. It wasn't bad it just didn't affect my mood at all. I hope it works better for you. I'm med resistant so a lot of meds don't work well for me.

I have been on Latuda for almost two weeks. My problem is I can't stay awake during the day, so then I feel blah. I have to wait and see before it is therapeutic though.
Thanks for this!

I love Latuda. I won't lie, the side effects were severe in the beginning but a year later I have almost none.

I'm taking Latuda. It works well for me and I don't have any side-effects which is nothing short of a miracle, I'm abnormally sensitive to meds.
Thanks for this!

I was on it for two weeks. It made me extremely agitated. I stopped taking it because I felt so aggressive.
Thanks for this!

It gave me more anxiety and caused me to clench my jaw and stiffen my neck. When I went off it I felt much better in that regard. If it didn't cause the above things I'd still be taking it but I just couldn't deal with that anymore. Now I'm on Seroquel XR and feel better all around.

I'm on my second month of Latuda and like it much better than the seroquel. Just jumped from 60mg to 120. A few side-effects but nothing as bad as the seroquel.
Thanks for this!

I'm just starting out but so far, other than some drowsiness I feel ok. I've been on so many medications I feel this is my only hope so I'm going in with a positive attitude.

Try taking at night if sleepy during the day. That's what I do with my blood pressure meds.

Helped me a lot with mixed episode symptoms. Decreased the irritation and noise in my head. In combo with lamictal it battling the depression of BP.

Hey good luck! I'm looking to start it too! My sister takes it and she loves it, AND she had none of the side effects. Hope it's that way for you, too.

Yes of course. I was only making a statement. It didn't work for me.
