Hi guys

Thanks for listening me going on and on with my progress, I hope you don't mind me sharing my story and updates with you all. Thanks for listening once again!

Well it's my 4th day today of taking Abilify 5mg, and feeling quite drowsy. Well since I started taking it I see some positive changes. Everyone in the house see it as well. The main "problem" is my lack of energy and drowsiness. I want to stay up and DO things...but just everything that I do makes me super tired. True, we have hot weather here today which is making things even worse. I guess...just very lazy and sleepy though I sleep very good.

I hope it'll pass. I am still adapting to my new med. Thumbs up!

I hope sleepiness will go away yeah, I am also having some problems with kinnda being nervous, not anxiety, just I can't sit still...I read it's a normal side effect, I'll mention it to my pdoc.

Miguel's mom I'm taking it in the morning, so my pdoc said, maybe cus I'm already taking my Lamictal in evening (well at around 6pm)...maybe I should switch it to evening?

I'd switch it to the evening you may be less tired but have the same positive effects.

I agree with you Miguel's mom, will mention this to my pdoc, don't want to try anything on my own, cus i'm scared of messing the things up.

What about the restleness and sensitive skin? Did your husband and son experienced any of this? I guess it's still early for me...and the side effects should go away...

I said this in your thread from yesterday, but I experienced a lot of sleepiness when I started Abilify. I was going to bed at 8 PM because I was too tired to do anything. I urge you to give it a chance though, because the sleepiness wore off and I'm more stable than I ever have been.

I was on it for about a year. I didn't have any problems with my skin but it caused me alot of trouble sleeping, in fact, I was hypomanic most of the time I took it. I felt great and got a lot done, but I sure was irritable. I went off insurance and couldn't afford it anymore and have been depressed ever since.
