Hey guys
![]() Just want to know if anyone else here with taking Abilify feels hungry like ALL THE TIME?? I had a good apetite since I can remember but now it's like my belly is alwas hungry, and I eat A LOT. Luckily I haven't gained much pounds, I dunno in pounds but yesterday I had 52,5 kilos today I have 53,5, I think the scale showed it wrong but ok. Been on Abilify for 17th day today... ![]() |

![]() I hope that it is coincidental for you and that you don't start to gain. Not everyone on Abilify gains. It has seemed to work for me so my doctor won't consider taking me off of it. She says it is the most weight neutral ap on the market.

Abilify is notorious for weight gain and raising blood sugar ... Its hard to fight the feelings of wanting to eat 24/7.. One of the great joys of psych meds

I didn't gain weight or feel hungry on abilify but I only took it for maybe three months and I always have the opposite side effects. I had that effect with risperdal though and I gained fifteen pounds before I realized what was happening. Now with the invega I'm starting to get the same feelings so I'm trying to combat it with eatin things like fruit when I want something sweet and baked chips or something when I want something salty.
