Yes! And, it has made me gain a little weight. I am so resentful of my meds. I had to take Lithium in my third trimester and after my youngest daughter was born so I wasn't able to breastfeed. Not breastfeeding (among other more important things) meant not naturally dropping the whopping 40 lbs I had gained during pregnancy. Now because of medicine I have gained 5 lbs more instead of losing that weight. I am normally a healthy size, now I am miserable.

I hope that it is coincidental for you and that you don't start to gain. Not everyone on Abilify gains. It has seemed to work for me so my doctor won't consider taking me off of it. She says it is the most weight neutral ap on the market.

Abilify is notorious for weight gain and raising blood sugar ... Its hard to fight the feelings of wanting to eat 24/7.. One of the great joys of psych meds... Watch your sugar and carbs and exercise alot ... Its really hard to avoid weight gain with these lovely meds .

Take care

I didn't gain weight or feel hungry on abilify but I only took it for maybe three months and I always have the opposite side effects. I had that effect with risperdal though and I gained fifteen pounds before I realized what was happening. Now with the invega I'm starting to get the same feelings so I'm trying to combat it with eatin things like fruit when I want something sweet and baked chips or something when I want something salty.
