Hi Folks!

In 8 hours and 30 minutes, we will have our weekly Bipolar Support Chat from 8-9 EST. We are going to start with a brief check in, and then our topic for the chat will be "Accepting Your Diagnosis". Bring your stories and your wisdom and we will talk about denial, family and friend acceptance, denial, how to take care of yourself during this process, denial, timelines and stages of acceptance, and denial!

Join us for some support tonight!

Buried deep within there's a human
And despite everything I'm still human
I think that I'm still human

Smile! Crack a joke! Smile. Smile smile. Studies show that if you smile your mood will lighten up. Smile and say good morning or afternoon or whatever you want.

Breathe in the good air, breathe out the bad. Do that a few time. Its a yoga move and it works!

Call yourself a "Debbie Downer" Ill say gesh Im being a "Debbie Downer" today. And smile. Maybe even chuckle. Then move on....

Remember everyone is human and some people have bad days. When your upset at someone and its causing depression put yourself in their shoes.

I hope that helps.

I'm actually looking forward to tonight. Heading straight home after work to catch it before we head out for dinner.

If you're on a computer and not a mobile device, click on the link at the top that says chat, and then Flash Chat. I'll open a room for bipolar chat 5-10 minutes before 8 so it will show up then.

If you're on mobile, maybe someone else can help?
