Lamictal and sex

I am not sure if the two are related or not, but ever since I went up to 300 mg. of Lamictal I am having really intense, very pleasurable orgasms!
I did a google search, and found some evidence of increased sexual effects on Lamictal for some people. Anyway, I am not complaining, this is one of the best side-effects EVER! Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

When I was on Neurontin I had really pleasurable ones. Not on Lamictal where it was all tamed down.

Yep-300 mg and just realized this the other day. I was like gawd it's about friggin' time.

3 of them today... Each one intense, like I was shooting heroin or something. (Not that I ever have, but I have read a lot about it)
Even the afterglow after each one was really strong and lasting. I really hope Lamictal keeps treating me so good longterm.
It has decreased my irritability, eliminated my depression, increased my energy levels and put my sex life into overdrive.

What a shame my Prozac does the opposite for me... but whadaya gonna do? You have to make a choice sometimes with your meds. Sanity or amazing orgasms but off-the-wall mood swings. Enjoy your side effects as long as you can. (Grumble grumble... and admiration... lol)

At first Lamictal seemed to dampen my sex drive a bit. Once I got up to 300 mg (considered a hefty dose for monotherapy) is when I started noticing the increased sexual pleasure.

Ive been on it for six months. Hubby is a happy camper, there were time where he turned me down. It is a side effect. Love that side effect. Ive slow down though. This has made me sad.

Yeah.... I've been on it for a while.. it's pretty amazing... makes ya feel like your the best thing since sliced bread.. so confident and euphoric..

I would say YES too, definitely. I should ask Doc to go up to 300 mg too!
When I was on Ability and other anti-depressants I had no sex drive whatsoever.

Absolutely! Although mine started just as soon as I started taking Lamictal. It ramped up my sex drive to an insane amount. But sadly it didn't last very long, maybe a few months. Now I'm on 300mg and my old, low-libido is back.
