I just joined today so this will be my first post. I would like to talk with other people who have Bipolar 1 with psychotic features. I would like to share my story with others and could really use the support.
For now I must say I'm new to being bipolar and don't know all the terms but I'm really feeling that panicy speedy feeling like everything is moving to fast. I'm afraid I'm going to cheat on my husband because he is out of town and I don't want to do that! I don't know why I keep having this impulse to do so. If anyone can help that would be great.

Hello and welcome to the group. You'll find some wonderful people on here. I suffer from the same thing, bipolar 1 with psychotic features. If you ever need someone to talk to feel free to private message me.

I'm also new here, and have Type I Bipolar Disorder. I'm sorry you're having a rough go right now. I'm also married and have been in your shoes.
What helped me was not to focus on my feelings (which were bipolar based), but to focus on who I was trying to be...Me! Not someone out of character. It is difficult I understand, but succumbing to false urges only creates more problems in the long & short run. Keep leaning on this group for support! We're all in this together! Well wishes

Welcome! I just received my diagnosis of Bipolar I this past Monday, so I joined for the same reason as you. I've found that people here are so warm and welcoming, and reading about other people's situations really helps me to not feel alone. You made a good choice joining here.
