I know I need to find a therapist. I'm having difficulty sorting through the lists of them which are online. I could really use some advice that could help simplify this process. Or, well, any advice on selecting a therapist would be helpful. I've not had much success with referrals or an iop program I tried a few weeks ago.

It's just so hard to think clearly right now and I've never done this before. My mind won't stay consistent long enough to learn new things very well. At least, not when I focus on these types of problems.

Have you tried searching via what your insurance accepts? May help narrow down the options.

Maybe do a brief interview over the phone with your picks and see if they offer what you're looking for. Just a thought

It took a bit of a crisis for me to trust my therapist. I can say mine grew on me. I didn't like her for a good while. I just went through my clinic.
