I think my pdoc always made me wait a week between dose adjustments to get my blood level taken, or else it would be too high or low. I seem to think they said at least 3 days to get a steady reading but I can't remember, I was lithium toxic for most of it and my memory of that is shot.

my pdoc said that unless i got my bloodwork done exactly 12 hrs (give or take up to 1 hr) after my dose that it wouldnt be an accurate peak reading. note: i was not taking an extended release tablet.
so if more that 12 hrs would make a difference you can bet a few days would.
i would reschedual the lab work if it were me

Yeah I wait AT LEAST a week if I do something like that before a blood test. If I have a while until my appt, I wait 2 because that's how long it seems to take for it to definitely be accurate
