I am diagnosed BP 2. Regardless of meds or no meds, I have horrible stomach problems. I have had all necessary tests which turned out negative. Anyone else out there with a belly ache?

Yes. When my anxiety due to GAD is bad, the pain can be intense. Sometimes I find myself doubled over in intense pain on the commode.

I have been back and forth to ER's for debilitating gut issues. I guess I have IBS but there isn't much they can do for it. Research shows folks with psychiatric disorders are more likely to have belly aches which makes sense. If you think going to a PDOC is a pain, try spending some with a GI doctor.

There is a direct connection between stomach issues and mental health issues, especially true of anxiety and gut problems.

Me. Bipolar 2 + BPD + GAD + MDD.

I've had IBS since my college years. I've noticed that it definitely gets worse when I'm more anxious.

Unfortunately, I think the only way to control this is to control the anxiety

Anxiety gives me bad intestinal difficulties quite often. I just deal with it. But mine is bearable.

I, too, struggled with IBS when I was younger. SSRI medication has been immensely helpful with controlling the IBS pain.
