For the most part, it works great. I wish I didn't need so many drugs to control this beast, but I'm not on huge doses and with the exception of the Geodon, they're not expensive. This is good because I'm unemployed and don't have health insurance.

My pdoc wants to try weaning me off the Zyprexa because it does put on weight and tends to raise my blood sugars (I'm a diabetic). Besides, I don't want to be on 2 anti-psychotics forever. But this combination is the most effective one I've tried so far, and I hesitate to fool with it now. I did try coming off the Zyprexa myself once and it was a disaster---I crashed and burned and had suicidal ideation. So I don't mess with my meds anymore!

I guess I'll just tell ... nobody cares anyway ... after seriously traumatic event at work went manic for the first time ever, ran naked through hotel while hiding bars of surf wax, eventually passed out and was surrounded by police and taken to hospital, where they held me 14 days against my will. It will be a cold day in Phoenix before they see their money for that hospital stay.

I'm ashamed to say mine. Too many skeletons in the Bipolar closet.

I did scare the crap out of some tough guys when I lost it once. Guess I smashed out all my windows and jumped out with a crowbar. Chased some chick up a tree where she stayed all night. I ended up in the ER that night. I blacked out and don't remember any of it.

Well......I tend to get flirty, easily aroused & turned on easily when I'm manic. So I guess I'll "pass" on the details of my antics!

I had a job at a church taking care of kids in after-school care. I rented the movie "Babe" and told them that Babe the pig was like Jesus, leading his flock. I think they were confused, but I don't know, maybe that's not so crazy after all?

Not my craziest or freakiest but an interesting one.

I picked a fight with my husband and then felt guilty. So I wrote "I'm sorry, I love you" in pink hair dye on the bathroom mirror. He didn't find it until after he got out of the shower. By then it had turned red and ran down the mirror. It took him a little to realize it wasn't blood. So now in in the master bedroom the next tenants will have a 4'x6' pink stain of " I'm sorry, I love you" in their bathroom mirror.

Got out of my car, ran up to the car in front of me, tried getting doors open, tried smashing windows, etc, and asking them which one of you wants to die first
I kicked dents in their car doors and scratched the paint all over their car
