Am I the only one who rocks and sways like...constantly if I'm not up and about...well, sometimes even then!

I don't do it consciously most of the time but then sometimes I feel like I have to do it. Maybe I'm calming myself? I'm not sure but seriously...I cant stop. I'm clinching my teeth and swaying/rocking.
Thanks for this!

I rock and sway when I am feeling out of sorts. I usually don't realize I am doing it until someone brings it to my attention. I guess it could be a nervous habit like when people shake their legs. For me I think the rhythm of swaying calms me down.

As for the teeth clenching, now that doesn't sound calming at all!! I clinch my teeth when I am really stressed and TMJ hurts like a mofo.

I find I cannot sit still. This can be in the form of my knee bouncing around. I also can sway and rock. Nervous energy? Restlessness and agitation due to meds? I do not know.

i dont jaw clinch but a big "oh yeah" to the bouncy legs, tappy fingers, rocking and hair tugging/twirling - in any combination
oh and i have a tic that makes me make a barking like noise once in awhile
i feel like a textbook example of how crazy people are supposed to act

i have less of this when i take benzos but then theres that fine line between theraputic and addiction.

I bounce my legs and feet a lot. My IT guy at work used to ask me all the time years ago, "Why do you do that?" I used to say, "Because I have ADD." And he'd respond, "No you don't." I'd say, "Yeah, I do. Why? Why do you think I do it?" He'd never answer me. He later told me he's bipolar. Oh.

I have a general problem with being still.

I used to grind my teeth all the time, and had TMJ for a while. Now I only do it sometimes.

Could it be a med side effect? I don't rock and sway, but I constantly, always, pick at my cuticles. Have for years. Hands constantly moving. ???
