Ok, so I've been having some symptoms blossom the past two days that could be considered worrisome. I don't feel they are near that level yet, so I am monitoring them and taking my PRN's. My boyfriend is on the other side of the state. One way or another it comes up and without telling me, leaves for home and calls my doctor. Only difficult thing is my boyfriend and I are entirely on the outs. We are moving to separate places in less than a month bc he felt uncomfortable. I explained I wanted to attempt to get the symptoms, which are WAY worse with stress, under some type of control with the medication I have first. If she tells me I need hospitalized, my stable living environment after discharge is gone and suddenly I'm homeless. How would you all feel if it happened to you? Does he have any right to do that without even seeing me? I'm interested to hear all viewpoints. Btw, she called me and talked for a couple seconds on the phone and said to just call her after work.
Hugs from:

I'm sorry you're going through this difficult time davidicci

Any kind of change is stressful and can make our symptoms worse.

I'm sorry to hear that your relationship with your partner is under strain.

I would imagine that your pdoc would only consider hospitalization after a thorough assessment of you, not necessarily based on a second hand opinion, she would want to assess you herself, I should imagine.

Even if you didn't go to hospital, your living arrangements would possibly have changed?

It's good that you are taking your meds.

Keep tabs with your pdoc. You may need some adjustments.

Look after yourself.
Thanks for this!

Hooligan you give some of the most compassionate and sincere responses. They truly validate and it is very much appreciated.

If you do go in-hospital they should have a social worker there who could help you if you have no where to go after discharge. Hopefully it won't come to that.
