So... I feel like my depression is better by one percent. But here's my new issue. I'm not one to use foul language, I think it's a crutch well, I just don't like it. But all of a sudden, I woke up today thinking wildly crude thoughts, the F word is a staple in my thoughts and im giving searing comments to co-workers that don't deserve it. I CAN"T CONTROL MYSELF. Not to mention that sex is a constant thought in my mind. If the UPS guy only knew what I just did to him in my head. What do I do? Seriously, I need to focus on normal things.

I was raised with the belief that cursing sounds unintelligent and a better word can be used. However, when I'm hypomaniic/manic/mixed I curse like a sailor now. Hate it. Pops out of my mouth without thinking. Not like Tourette's but an emotional reaction to something that's made me mad. Not sure how common, but I'm also now married to a sailor
It wanes. Seems also linked to PMS for me. I'm ok about 3 weeks out of the month, unless not sleeping/off meds.
Any recent changes?

Based only on what you've written and the symptoms you have described there's relatively few symptoms that I can pick out that would form the basis for a diagnosis of a mixed episode. That's not to say you aren't having one. Just a thought from my own personal experience, that's all, it's not a medical diagnosis.

The conundrum is the sex drive. Hmmmm.

I would think if you are indeed having a mixed episode you may be experiencing other symptoms. Are you?
