Hi all !
before I was medicated I experienced mania with delusions and psychosis etc. I have been on 5mg of olanzapine now for 15 years and this has stopped all my manias in their tracks. This med holds you in a state of depression which is not intolerable but just inconvenient, I am what I would describe as very slowed down. In recent times I have added to my routine the following things. 1. Dark therapy 2. A sunrise alarm to reset my circadium rhythms 3. 5000mg of vitamin D daily. 4. a daily routine 5. a strict sleep schedule every night. I would now describe my mood as comfortably numb my symptoms are all physical not mental. I sleep like a log . I actually feel like I am getting on top of my Bipolar. we shall see ! fingers1 |

It sounds like you have a plan and that is good. I try to stick to a routing too. It is probably the best thing I do for myself.
I'm not familiar with Dark Therapy, though.
