So, for the last 4 weeks I feel as though I have been teetering on brink of a downward spiral. I have been extremely lethargic and virtually no appetite. I see NP Monday. I'm far from suicidal. So that's good. I feel like at any minute I could free falling into the depths of despair. I don't know what to do.

Thanks all for being so wonderful.

i am in the same spot as u but i went over ....and i am freaking out

i am hoping this will help u and me at the same time so here it goes

1 u need to id what is making u feel this way ....what event ...what thought....what actions
by naming it get a understanding of it and begins to be less of a monster

2 keep it positive as much as u can always look for the silver lining .......if u have to make a joke out of it lessing the effect on u for a short time

3 the times the thoughts come in your head and loop ....break it find something else to distract u to keep it from going downwards

4 talk about it just getting it off your chest and outside points of view can be a really big good thing .....and they will tell u to head to doctor or what ever they think is best ....crazies stick together we know what it like

5 do some looking on the net for info .......but if the info gets bad or freaks u out more ....stop ....come here and read/help

6 lady told me this is living in the moment trick love&toll (hope getting that right)
get a skeletonized watch and watch the gears the movements ...the mathwork for the gears to keep time just gears and tension ...watch the movement and think about that (the movement is so fast and thinking about the watch it takes alot so what ever was in there is gone ) centers u
Amazon.com: AMPM24 Vintage Hollow Skeleton Case Mechanical Pocket Watch WPK015: Watches
that is mine

help this helps .......helped me a little so thanks
Thanks for this!

See your doctor ASAP. If you start thinking those crazy thoughts like hurting yourself just check into the ER and go inpatient if you need to.

Reach out to loved ones. That always helps me when I'm losing it.

Be well and good luck
Thanks for this!

i did not like the side effects of depakote and seroquel. Sometimes our very meds can worsen our symptoms. Make sure you are okay. Sometimes just raising dosages is not the way to go.

I'm glad you're not feeling suicidal. That's a hopeful sign right there. I know depression is hard to handle, but remember, "this, too, shall pass". Depression is your brain lying to you and telling you all sorts of stories to make you feel bad. Don't listen to it!

Monday is a while away when you are feeling the way you are feeling. Maybe you should (especially if you are felling worse) give her a call tomorrow to give her a heads up; then she will, at least, be prepared to address your situation. I hope things look up for you soon!

To go out or not to go out tonight? That is the question. I hate this...I have no energy, no interest in anything at all, and no appetite. I've been like this for a few weeks but my mood is pretty average for me.

Thanks all for being so wonderful.
