I have posted a bit about all this home renovation and painting I have been doing. In 5 weeks I have painted my entire kitchen (including cabinets), a table, upholstered chairs, and painted family and dining room. Yesterday I started on the entry. This was all fun for a while, but is causing great anxiety now.
Hanukah starts today and I haven't even gone shopping for the kids or wrapped the few my husband bought for them. This is driving me crazy. I need to calm down and take a break from fixing and painting but I can't. I took myself off prozac a week ago, but I don't think that would have anything to do with this. I see my pdoc today anyway. I can't believe I totally blew off Hanukah shopping bc of all this. This is all I can think about and it's not fun anymore. I should add that all this home improvement stuff is being charged- I don't have the cash for this.

hire some guys to finish the work on the painting
u hit amazon .......or the stores and worst case .........kids love music and concerts a band or something that is coming tho in a few months u can get them tickets (just make a note put in card ) ........or u can give them get out of trouble cards ( no matter what they done they turn in a card they cannot get yelled at or grounded this only applies to little things) .........fun summer things like a water park a card with a trip to the water park when the weather turns good .....roller coast park too rem u are mommy kiddies love u so do not freak out .......take a few deep breaths half a glass and just bust out your best super mommy to the recuse |

Name a Star - Includes Certificate & Registry buy the kids a star name it after them ........that way mommy light always shines on them at night to keep them safe just came to me |

Between what my husband had bought and the few things I picked up we ended up having plenty of gifts for the two of them. 1-day shipping on Amazon rocks!! I was even able to dig up some hanukah candles in the bottom of a box in the basement.
AND I painted the hallway and doors. The color is not what I pictured in my head (did not look like it did in the store) but it's ok.
