Reached a breaking point yesterday where my thoughts were starting to race again. I had upped my therapy to 1x per week since I've been having a lot of trouble with my daughter's father being disrespectful.

My therapist recommended that I give my p-doc a call. I called him at 4:30 and he returned my call at 5:15. Was really gentle in his demeanor- when we were talking- I started to realize that I wasn't taking my 125 mg of Depakote in the morning on a consistent basis so he recommended pushing my Depakote dosage to evenings.

Just started that last night and I already feel better.

Hi newtothis

I'm sorry to hear you weren't in a good place yesterday.

I'm glad your T suggested you touch base with your pdoc and that they have been able to make adjustments to your meds.

Take care of yourself.

Hi Newtothis, it sounds like you have a good plan and great support network in place. Now that your Pdoc is aware of what's going on he will help you stay on track. And once a week T can really help you stay in a safe place, and give you the confidence you need to face life and succeed.

Really glad your already feeling the benefits, and I hope you continue to improve.

I'm on day two of the med revision and I am feeling lot better. I was actually able to get up in the morning. For the past three weeks- I've woken up and just felt like a boulder- nothing could get me to move for thirty minutes.

I'm not going to see my daughter again until the day after Christmas (but I'll have her all of New Years week).

Thinking of you newtothis,

Let us know how it goes with seeing your daughter New Years week.

Hope all goes well.

Take care.

It is great to have an excellent pdoc. It is a gift to have that in place. I went through five average to downright negligent ones before I found my current doc, who is a legend.
